Planning-Production timeline

 Hello!

Week 1:

During the first week, I will focus on planning and taking most of the photos I need for my magazine. I will take pictures for the cover and for the feature article. While doing this, I will also look at my original plan and make changes if something doesn’t work out the way I expected. This will help me stay on track and make sure I don’t fall behind later.

I will also start organizing my magazine by planning my layout and beginning my table of contents. If I finish taking the photos early, I will start putting them into InDesign and do some basic editing like cropping and adjusting the lighting.

Week 2:

In the second week, I will focus more on writing and designing the magazine. I will start writing my feature article and continue working on my table of contents. I will also begin designing my cover page by adding the main photo, title, and some headlines that match the topic of the magazine.

During this week I will continue editing my photos and placing them into my magazine layout in InDesign. If I realize I need more photos, I will take them during this week so I still have time to add them before finishing the project.

Week 3:

In the third week, I will focus on finishing the magazine and making final changes. I will go through everything to make sure the layout looks good and that all the pages are organized correctly. I will check for spelling or grammar mistakes and make sure the table of contents matches the pages.

I will also add final details like captions, page numbers, and any other design elements to make the magazine look more complete. After reviewing everything one more time, I will make any last edits and get the magazine ready to turn in.
