Planning-Cover, table of contents, feature article plan

Cover:

To start, I’m planning on having my cover image be of a famous soccer player like Messi because I already took a picture of him before. I will use that image as the main cover photo and design the rest of the cover around it. I will also explain the cover image and include the magazine cover conventions that we learned in class, such as the masthead, cover lines, main headline, and the main image. My goal is to make the cover look realistic and similar to a real sports magazine.

Table of contents:

For the table of contents, I will create different sections to make it look like a full magazine, even though I will mainly be focusing on one feature article. I will include page numbers, section titles, and short descriptions of what would be on each page. I will also add photos and design elements to make the page look more interesting and professional, like a real magazine’s table of contents.

Feature articles:

For the feature article, I am planning to write about either street soccer/pickup games or soccer tennis. I want to choose one of these topics because they are a little different compared to what most soccer magazines usually focus on. Instead of just talking about professional soccer, I want to show another side of the sport that people can play for fun. In the article, I will explain what the game is, how people play it, and why it is popular. I will also include photos and design elements to make the article more engaging.
